This is probably much easier to do in co-op with a friend. After completing the first mission you'll be able to free roam, invite your friend or vice versa and hold left on the d-pad, it will come up with a prank challenge, mine was kill 2 enemies on top of a vehicle. After completing the challenge hold left on the d-pad again and it'll prank your partner and achievement unlocked. You both need to make sure you have co-op pranking turned ON in the settings.
If like me you don't have anybody to do this with you can try matchmaking from the main menu to be matched with a random person. However I was declined around 20 times before somebody accepted me.

Hello Hunters! This is the only online achievement that requires a partner but don't worry it's super simple! Once you're in a game with your co-op partner all you have to do is hold 
and the game will give you a special challenge to complete. Once it's completed simply hold once again to prank your friend and the achievement should pop!

To connect to a random player, you need to go to the main menu of the game, select a joint campaign, then select matchmaking, select the last autosave and start a search, you will be connected to the player, then as in the tip above

One of the options that helped me. I searched for players for two days, but there was no one. Look in the trends who is currently streaming, go to the profile and there will be a button to participate (it will not always be available, someone plays alone) I succeeded 7 times.
