In Mayhem, you have to destroy as much stuff as you can in a specific area. For an easy way to do this, keep restarting the mission by double-pressing  and running back to the starting point until you get a target area with a crib or a Rim Jobs. Retrieve one of your more expensive cars from the garage, destroy it, and repeat. You should get around $10,000 or more each time around.
