How to unlock the 1 Round Perfect achievement in Samurai Shodown II - Definitive Guide

The easiest and fastest way to get this is to choose Earthquake as your character (the fat one with a chain) and use the skill : Forward + LB.

It will do about 1/3 damage for every hit on the enemy.

I found it best to be aggressive. If you hang back, most characters will use a ranged attack and chip away at some health.

As far as I can tell, the fighter's name isn't identified on the selection screen. For people just getting into this game, you might let them know who Earthquake is (giant fat MFer with a chain, bottom row, second from right).

Just to add to this, Earthquake is the big guy with the chain and sickle weapon.

Bottom row of characters, 2nd to last one all the way to the right

To make this easier, go to the settings and make sure it's on easy.
I find getting a perfect easiest with Earthquake or Haohmaru.
If you're attempting this with Haohmaru, just walk near your opponent and press cn_A .
If you're attempting this with Earthquake, walk near your opponent and press cn_LB or crouch and press cn_LB , it will work eventually.
If you're still having trouble, play Arcade normally, you'll get it eventually.
