CaptHowdy you forgot to mention one thing you mention in another solution. To get home runs you need "To get easy home runs press UP on the LS (left stick) and press B" and use the Bullies with a lot of power hitters...

Just a side note, I used 'The Commons' field, and hit the home runs with the all-stars.
The commons has a low back fence which makes home runs much easier than on any other map. At least for me, YMMV.

You will most definitely get this in story mode. If you followed my solution for beating every team in story mode with the no mercy rule you should get this in your 3rd game, the game after you pick up Dmitri.
If you did not read my solution for "no mercy" As soon as you start story mode choose to play the following teams in this order
The Rooftop - Keisha Phillips
Quantum Field - Dmitri Petrovich
Pablo's Sandlot - Pablo Sanchez
In the game vs. Pablo you will get the back to back HRs achievment
