Sandlot Sluggers

This achievement is a reference to MLB All Star Pitcher Nolan Ryan. Ryan is the all-time leader in no-hitters with seven, three more than any other pitcher.

So basically in order to get this achievement, you have to pitch a "no-hitter" or a "perfect game" in a game that has at least 5 innings. Now for those who don't know a "no-hitter" is when the batter never hits the ball with the bat. They can still take a base by getting 'walked" or hit by a pitch to take a base. This is different than pitching a "perfect game" which is for striking out every batter and never letting a single one take a base.

You can try to do this in the actual story mode of the game or against a CPU opponent. But if you just want the achievement without having to restart multiple times, then go with the 2 controller method.

The set-up for this achievement should be as follows:

-2 Controllers
-Innings 5
-Mercy Rule Off
-Manual Fielding On or Off (doesn't matter)
-Teams (doesn't matter)
-Field (doesn't matter)

Now for explanation purposes, Player 1 is going for the achievement. So when the match starts, whenever Player 1 is pitching, throw whatever pitches you want, just don't touch Player 2, have them just stand there and do nothing.

When Player 2 is pitching again, have them through fastballs over the plate and have Player 1 hit the ball. You can score as many runs as you want, just hit the ball and score at least once.

Once Player 1 has hit the ball and scored at least once, you can just strike each other out for the remaining innings. The achievement will pop when the 5th inning/match ends.

Now just a couple of things I want to mention. This achievement is for never letting the opponent score. The opponent can hit the ball and make it safely to the bases. They can just never score. I tried this on 2 different profiles and as long as you win the game 1-0 the achievement will pop.
