The Meteor Ball is a power-up that the batter can get. It looks like a baseball with flames flowing out the back of it and automatically gives you a home run when you make contact with the pitch. I know you can get a home run with a normal or power swing, but I never tried bunting to see if that works too.

Just got it; thanks for the description that it is a batter's power up. I had a hard time getting it to come up, so i let the other team score 5 runs, and then it came up on my next powerup. Normal swing, homerun.
