How to unlock the Born Victim achievement in Saw - Definitive Guide

The combo for the door towards the begining of the level is 831. Just go to the door put in the code and do the memory game. No need to do the rest of the level. I have added a video from youtube to show the memory game per request in the comments. All credit for the video goes to SMacReBorn.

Wow someone voted negative when this cuts level time down to like 2 mins and no balls to say why.

I voted negative because you fail to explain how to do the memory game which is the actual task to get this achievement. I'm surprised you don't have more neg votes.

The video didn't help me but I still give a thumbs up for showing a video guide with the attempt. That was the hardest puzzle ever through the whole game. It took me over a hour to complete because everytime Jeff is killed all the tvs change so you can't memorize the tvs like that. You have to have a strategy to completing this puzzle.

This is a memory game, the locations of what you have to match are RANDOM every time you try to solve this puzzle.
these are what you have to match:
FOOT= HACKSAW
HEART= HEART RATE LINE
JIGSAW PIECE= JIGSAW PIECES
PILLS= PILL BOTTLE
RIFLE= BULLETS
CASSETTE= TAPE PLAYER
CAMERA= CAMERA FILM
HAMMER= NAILS

After many fails I did it very fast with your notes! There are 16 TVs: 4 row and 4 columns. Just pick them randomly and write down the known positions, so you can easier find them again, for example casette 3x2. Very easy! clap

Easiest way to figure out the matches instead of trying to remembering which ones you chosen already just have a piece of paper and a pencil to write down which ones you chosen already. Take the list of objects needed to match from DarkAdrenaline7 has mentioned to write down the ones you seen. It took me my very first try to net this achievement. The strategy I did was go from the top left corner and write down every object that you see on that TV then just work your way to the right then once you reached the end of the row just go to the next row. Just work your way down each row and if you look at one TV just look at your list to match the ones you're needing to net the achievement. Take note that you must match all the objects to win the puzzle and net you the achievement. Good luck cause it took me a dozen tries without the strategy I came up with to net this achievement because this is the hardest puzzle in the game if you're like me that sucks at remember stuff for a game. Also, if you don't match 5 matches in a row Jeff will die and you'll have to restart the game and every time you restart the TVs aren't the same.

This is the fifth "boss" in the game, and the last person you have to save. To save Jeff, you need to complete a game of Memory, by matching pairs of items on the TV screens. Keep in mind the items you're trying to match are not identical, but they are things that go together, like a camera and film. Watch the video for more help.

Credit goes to SMacReBorn for the video.

This is essentially a game of Memory, but instead of matching exact items, you'll be matching corresponding items. I'd highly suggest grabbing paper and a pen to write down everything that comes up when you don't get a match so you can get back to them later when you find the other half. I tried without it and couldn't remember for the life of me. Anyway, you can make up to four mistakes total with the fifth being a death sentence for Jeff. Every correct answer will give you another chance as a stake will be removed from his body. Here are the matches you need:

  • Heart :: Monitor (like this)
  • Hammer :: Nails
  • Shotgun :: Shells
  • Pills :: Bottle
  • Saw :: Foot
  • Camera :: Film
  • Recorder :: Tape
  • Puzzle :: Piece
