How to unlock the Bottled achievement in Sea of Solitude - Definitive Guide

Hello everyone,

The videos for the bottles and the seagulls locations are great, but one thing bothered me: it's two separate videos. That's a bit annoying to have to switch from one tab to another, back and forth, and to don't know the chronology order where we have to meet those points of interest.

So I found on YouTube a video gathering both achievements, and you can follow it while doing the story of the game, without wondering if I missed something or switching between two tabs.

Does it show anywhere which chapter or portion is missing collectibles or are you meant to go through all of them to find one you missed?

There is not an option to see what you have missed unfortunately. This has made it hard for me since I can’t find the last one (even though it said 39/39 collected) so my bottled achievement won’t pop.

I have the same problem. I've collected 39/39 and no achievement pop up. Restarted the game and the xbox to no avail. If anyone has a solution on this that would be great, as there are no bottles left to pick up!

My progress says 97% but I've been back through a guide 3 times now and cannot find the last bottle!

If you use chapter select and can't find collectibles that should be there, then quit the game and re-enter and you should find them respawned. I originally played the game in one sitting and then went into chapter select and some seagulls were not respawning. Once I quit and restarted, the seagulls were where they should be.

Notes:
- I collected everything on my first try but it seems you can reload a chapter and grab the collectible then quit as it saves right away when you pick it up.
- Seagull 22 can be “Shooed” on the first area/chapter, when it’s sunny.

Just an addition for those looking for numbers but not locations because they want to find them themselves:
Chapter 1 - 7 Bottles, 7 Seagulls
Chapter 2 - 5 Bottles, 3 Seagulls (Cumulative: 12 Bottles, 10 Seagulls)
Chapter 3 - 5 Bottles, 3 Seagulls (Cumulative: 17 Bottles, 13 Seagulls)
Chapter 4 - 7 Bottles, 9 Seagulls (Cumulative: 24 Bottles, 22 Seagulls)
Chapter 5 - 2 Bottles (Cumulative: 26 Bottles, 22 Seagulls)
Chapter 6 - 6 Bottles, 4 Seagulls (Cumulative: 32 Bottles, 26 Seagulls)
Chapter 7 - 7 Bottles, 2 Seagulls (Cumulative: 39 Bottles, 28 Seagulls)
Chapter 8 - 2 Seagulls (Cumulative: 39 Bottles, 30 Seagulls)
Chapter 10 - 1 Seagull (Cumulative: 39 Bottles, 31 Seagulls)

Video guide with all the collecting trophies in each level. There are also two guides, one only for bottles, the other only for seagulls, for those who missed something.

Immediately collect according to the guide, since there are no statistics on where and how much you collected. And having opened all the chapters after completing it, you won’t know where you need to go to collect what you missed and will have to start from the first chapter.

Everything that was not collected (seagulls and bottles) can be collected after completing the game, by selecting a chapter.

I don’t understand why in all the videos, bottle No. 9 is collected by jumping onto the roof. I tried for about 20 minutes and was unsuccessful. As a result, a little further, when you go to take the seagull, you can walk along the sides to this roof and calmly take both the seagull and the bottle.
