How to unlock the And stay down, too! achievement in Sea of Stars - Definitive Guide
After getting to the top of the clocktower in the Castle on Mesa Island and getting the master key from the Watchmaker you will go back down the lift to the workshop with the OLD kids. Use the key on the large door in the workshop to face the 4 acolytes.
WARNING: This is the first boss fight in the game where there's not a campfire and save point right before the boss. So heal up (ESPECIALLY YOUR MP) before going through the door.
They have the same attacks from when you fought them before but obviously there are 4 of them at the same time now. Take out the 2nd one from the left first since he can heal.

There’s actually a campfire next to the save in the room where you use the Master Key, should be right next to the save station.
Also, I found this fight to be easier than the two duo fights, though I’m sure how much of that is due to the health reduction they likely got or me simply knowing what the Acolytes could dish out this time (especially One’s counter).
