Climbing the Hill of Intent you'll see a behind a sun glyph on a rock wall right next to a save book. In order to make it spawn you'll need to blow all the leaf piles onto the pile of sticks and then shift to night time.

The Leaf Monster takes zero damage while covered in leaves, so you can use this time to heal or buff, otherwise, straight attacks to generate live mana until it throws its leaves and is vulnerable to attack.
