How to unlock the Sébastien, the legend achievement in Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO - Definitive Guide
This requires you to win all of the Loeb Experience events. As touched upon earlier, most of the events are pretty similar to those you would find in the career. There are 2 or 3 events however that judge you based upon your overall time, not your position relative to the A.I.. These events have somewhat stricter time requirements than those that Easy Difficulty A.I. would normally give you, so you may have to replay these events a few times to beat them.
A prime example of this is the final Loeb Experience event which has you racing a Peugeot Hillclimb vehicle on Pikes Peak. Although your split times relative to the A.I. might make it seem as if you are miles ahead of the time requirement, the time you actually need to beat isn't quite as forgiving. The final time you need to beat is 9:08:918, while the best A.I. time is normally somewhere closer to the 10 minute mark.
For a visual reference of this event, as well as an idea of how difficult (or perhaps 'easy') the hardest event in this game is, please see the following video:
This is by far the hardest achievement in the game! Without this the game would be rated 2 points less. Most of the events are pretty straight forward and easy because it can be done on Rookie. Only the ones where you have to get 5 green sectors may take two or three tries if you mess up. But there are two events that are very frustrating and hard because you have to beat a time limit and not the AI. The first is rallycross event with a ~42 seconds time limit during a 3 lap race and the second one is the "25 seconds" event - a 6 minute special stage in Wales. This can not be done on Rookie because the autobreak is too strong and you'll finish the stage with around 30 seconds over the time limit. My advice is to keep the TCS full (because of the slippery 100% mud) and change the autobreak to a value between 1 and 4 (0 if you are good at breaking). It took me around 5 frustrating hours of trying and changing the options to beat that event. Don't give up and try to learn the track. Keep on driving even if you mess up the first half because you need to learn the second half of the track too (hairpins). You need around 65-70 seconds left when entering the last sector of the stage in order to make it in time. The poor handling of the cars makes this achievement unnecessary hard.
