Secret Neighbor

I tried unlocking this a few times with some of the other solutions, and I can say for a fact that some of them are wrong or outdated.

The reason this achievement may not unlock is for the same reason many other achievements in this game won't unlock when they should; if you fail the requirements for an achievement in one game, then you are locked out from getting the achievement until you fully quit out of and reload the game. So if you switch to a neighbor by pressing "Y", or if you get downed and press "X" and respawn as the neighbor, you need to restart your game.

With that being said, to win without turning into the neighbor, you need the timer to run out without any of the kids entering the basement. A good strategy is to try and snatch up as many keys and key cards as you can and hide them in a corner somewhere outside. If you play as the Detective, you could use his photo ability to find the keys a little bit easier. On the other hand, kids can use this ability against you, which may expose your stash.

This is much easier if you try to boost with at least one other person. To do this, you need to search for a game at the same time and hope you get in the same game. If you aren't neighbor or you didn't get in the same game, just back out and repeat until you are neighbor.

Keep in mind, you cannot do this or any of the other achievements in custom matches. As soon as the timer runs out, your achievement should pop. Then you're one step closer to finishing this awful game!

If you're the neighbour, you can win the game without ever transforming if you simply throw items repeatedly at the same child until they're down. As the neighbour, you can also throw items to slow down children for you to catch up to.

It's the most funny achievement. Now, when there are lot of locked doors, it's very easy to win as a neighbour.

Just play games until you will be neighbour. When you are, just play like other children. Try find some keys, but you should not unlock doors with them! If you have some keys and you must carry other one, try to hide other somewhere.

So you should pretend You are child and keep keys in your inventory... Other children can't use them!!! ;)

One way which worked for me and some friends:
Based on the encourage achievement, which doesnt save your progress if you close the game, the achievement might work vice versa. If you turned into the neighbour in one game, all other games afterwards will not pop the achievement. So close the game and restart it. When you become the neighbour go straight for the achievement without turning into the neighour in any game you play. The other guides give you great tips for winning.

Let's say you did this achievement over and over, but it doesn't unlock. This is most likely due to a bug with the UI. When you start the game, look in the bottom left corner at the cards that indicate if you are disguised as a child or neighbor.

If you start the game and the neighbor card is on the top(even if you are disguised as a child), you won't get the achievement because the game thinks you are shown as the neighbor.

If you start the game and the child card is on top, you will most likely get the achievement if you win.

If you begin the game with the latter; hide all the keys you can and throw stuff at the children to slow them down. Do NOT spawn back in the control room if you are downed, as this will automatically make you the neighbor.

Must Complete a Match as the Neighbor without pressing

Simply Win the Match by the Time Clock running out.
(Neighbor wins when time expires)
You can find keys and hide them to make sure they dont escape

To get this achievement when you're the neighbor don't become it, just stay in the form of a child if in a game session you've already transformed yourself, I recommend that you close the game and open it again to avoid bugs.

the easiest way i found was to get the keys and keycards and hide them in a corner the only danger is that the crow may end up locating the keys but just go in place and scare the crow away.

another way is to throw items at children so that they fall to the ground, making their work difficult.
