How to unlock the Get to da Choppa achievement in Section 8: Prejudice - Definitive Guide
- You can do this in offline or online. While playing offline, it may be easier to obtain since the AI should come to your aid - especially if you're the last player not yet killed.
- Keep in mind that you are automatically shown to the enemy team on their map/mini-map, so they will be hunting you down. As far as I know, jammer beacons will still make enemies not able to lock on to you which will help.
- A good team will make this a lot easier, since you can fortify and back each other up. Check your map, sometimes your team will all go to a spot (usually a control point) and defend everyone there, so head over if you see this happening. If you have friends with the game, consider playing together and helping out if you're on the same team.
- Overall the best idea is to stay back in your base which hopefully will have some turrets and such to protect you (and of course you can put down your own). Also, if you have the cash you can buy a vehicle which will increase the damage you can take. I personally did this while running around in a mech, I made sure to stick near my teammates and friendly buildings.
Which DCM you get is semi-random, based on game events. Also, this must be the opponents' DCM, not yours. So this could take several games to receive.
Can be obtained in LAN mode.
Altogether there are 9 different types of dynamic combat missions (DCMs), and this one deals with Elimination. Elimination can be picked randomly, or if enough people choose elimination when the DCM Progress notification appears at the bottom (press ). Once Elimination has begun there are two parts that you will need to complete to get this trophy. First you have to actually be on the team that is getting eliminated, not the one eliminating. Secondly, you have to survive three minutes without dying; all the while having a target on your head that everyone on the other team can see you no matter where you go. If you don’t want to boost this, picking a spot far away from any other DCMs and CPs is ideal. Also having weapons that be fired from long distances (sniper rifle or assault rifle) and the repair tool will help you survive. This trophy can also be done in an offline 8 vs 8 mode, but it is not as guaranteed that you will get to be on the team being eliminated.
