Section 8

I had to do this solo since the servers are now dead, and someone asked me about how I was able to accomplish this so I thought I would share my tips that I gave him.

1. Never go too far out of your way to get a control point. If you have to overdrive nearly a whole bar just to get somewhere, your other point will most likely be gone by the time you get back.

2. Never ever buy vehicles. They are just a straight up waste of money when compared to the defensive power of planting down several turrets.

3. Back up your turrets with 2 supply crates. Make a triangle of turrets that point at the most commonly used entrance by the enemy since the AI pathing to objectives is very abusive. Then back up these turrets with supply crates that can heal all three at the same time. And use two crates since they can heal each other.

4. Don't use vehicles period, but if you have one, let your AI friends drive them since they have near perfect aim. If a friendly is using his vehicle to protect the point then focus solely on healing him because his kills will help your score.

5. Sometimes it's not about controlling the most objectives since kills help you win the game. What you really want to do is bunker down one control point with turrets and supply crates while you constantly contest ONLY ONE of the other objectives.

6. Don't get greedy with objectives. If you hold 2 of the 3 that's great. Focus on defense to expand you lead. Missions can give you loads of points also.

7. Missions are a must! If a mission pops up try to do you best to complete it unless it's one that has you destroy a outpost of some other structure. It takes far too long to destroy them, and that time is better spent capping objectives while the enemy focuses on protecting the outpost. If you get something like a bomb or escort mission, then rush to them and do it as fast as you can, ignoring the enemy.

8. Don't use snipers, they are garbage against the bots's crazy strong shields. You want to get in close and lock on with something with a high rate of fire. The "C4 charges on an objective" trick is really effective also if you stay alive long enough for a bot to fall for it.

Just off the top of my head, that's really all I can think of. I was really scared about attempting this when I started because I got annihilated the last time I tried years ago, but whenever I came back to it, I noticed it wasn't as hard as I remember. Just don't great depressed and keep your head up because it's really not that bad. I hope some of this helps you all, and I look forward to not being the last person who finished this game lol.
