How to unlock the Over Achiever achievement in Section 8 - Definitive Guide
The Hard campaign is relatively easy until you hit the 'Escort Mission' sections. This can become incredibly frustrating, a combination of ridiculously stupid A.I. driving, the vehicles love of shooting themselves and you and long runs to get back in the action when you die.
My advice is this;
Learn where everything spawns, Rocket turrets are your prime targets, then Heavy armor (The big mechs), then Rocket infantry. Pretty much ignore the rest of the infantry.
Set your character up to have the machine gun, rocket launcher, repair tool and most importantly Det. packs. For me I found putting the passive modules with 4 on shields, 4 on speed (which also boost your shields) and the last two on repair.
Always try to move ahead of the convoy to plant all 5 of your Det packs where the rocket turrets will land, usually it will detanoate itself if you have put them right under the landing point.
I found if I ignored the Heavy armour then they tended to get caught up fighting my team mates, who are pretty useless except as distractions, they are also invincible, so if you see them fighting the heavys, then leave them to it : )
Where possible target the rocket troops, though often this will just get you killed so may be best to leave them.
At any oppourtunity, place yourself behind vehicles and repair them, by behind I mean the other side from the enemies.
For me, I tried repeatedly to be 'Rambo' and kill everything, but time and time again failed, following this advice the time I succeeded all I killed was two soldiers at the start and the two rocket turrets.

KingPliskin offers this advice on www.xbox360achievements.org;
Run around the left side of the building as fast and as far away as you can. If done properly the heavy armour will not spawn inside to ambush the convoy. Then they can drive through on their own.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Whilst they still spawned for me, not actually being in the fight definately seemed to make the vehicles get through easier.
Finally, cross your fingers, there is definately luck involved in this, mainly due to how your vehicles drive.
Sorry this is a long winded guide for a tiny fragment of the game, but I'm sure it will be this section you get stuck on if any, best of luck.

Total suckfest of a mission - wasted at least 4 hours on it before reading this.
I followed your load-out - mined the first turret on the first bridge and destroyed it. Got killed, legged it around the building and mined the turret and mini-gun spawn point and then hid on the roof. The Heavy Armor chased me around the building but the convoy made it through (one of them anyway). Then hid in front of it and focused on repairing. Unlocked first attempt like this!

Just letting you know your team mates are NOT COMPLETELY invincible. Sometimes they become retarded and walk out of the battle zone (the part with diagonal lines in the map, that says "system shutdown imminent" when you walk into it) and if they stay in there for 5 seconds they die. And they do NOT respawn, so you're all alone for the mission if that happens.

Finish all 8 missions and this achievement will unlock. There are only 1 or 2 really hard sections to this game and it can be completed in about 6 hours on hard, sometimes less. If you are still having problems, check out this thread for a few tips on the harder spots.
After you beat the eight campaign levels on hard this will unlock. I recommend starting on hard due to the relative ease of the game. You never have to worry about continuing, as you have unlimited lives. There are only two tricky parts in the game. The first is when you have to escort the tank, in which clearing the turrets ahead of time proves worthwhile. Then make sure that you have the healing wrench as an accessory. Simply follow right behind it healing it and it should make it. If you want more healing power you can always change your specialties (passive modules: See Passive Aggressive for more details) to make your healing more powerful and last longer. Aside from that the final boss can take a while. Just shoot the engineers right away before they heal him. Spawn behind a rock each time, then throw det packs (remote-control grenade) in his path towards you. Shoot him with the rocket launcher to get his attention, and explode the det packs as he passes over them. After you die, do it again until he’s dead.
