How to unlock the Swarming Behavior achievement in Section 8 - Definitive Guide
This is easy if you play on trivial with 8 people, this will make it you and a bot against 6 bots.Just choose the maps with the least command points to capture on each map and when you control one stick to it. I did this with a friend so we captured 1 command point each and stuck to it; that made it even faster.
These are the maps; only one variant of each map is needed:
Azure Basin
Blackstone Marsh
Devil's Backbone
Edge of Oasis
Hornet's Nest
Invasion Point
Land's End
Nuclear Dawn
Orbital Relay
Stormfront
Utah Crash Site

Can be done solo (Instant Action) or in multiplayer (Ranked or Private match)
In order to unlock this achievement, you'll have to win on the maps from the main game and the DLC as well. Winning on the DLC maps will also give you the All Your Basin, Buzz Kill and Dance with the Devil achievements. Be sure to set difficulty to "Trivial" to make it easier for yourself. The maps are:
Main game (8)
- Blackstone Marsh
- Edge of Oasis
- Invasion Point
- Land's End
- Nuclear Dawn
- Orbital Relay
- Stormfront
- Utah Crash Site
DLC (3)
- Azure Basin
- Devil's Backbone
- Hornet's Nest
See Insanity Defense for more information on increasing score.
This trophy can be done on the easiest setting (trivial), and really does not need to be boosted. It is basically 2 against 6 (you being on the two side). It will go much faster in a boost, however, and will prepare you for the one you need to do on insane difficulty. I would recommend having one person host, while starting at the top of the list of maps. You only have to do each “location” once, meaning you don’t have to do all three maps for one location. That being said, always choose the locations with the fewest bases when possible. I would suggest switching the difficulty on the map with the name “Skyhook” in it since this is the easiest map to beat on insane difficulty. See Insanity Defense for more details.
