This can be unlocked right at the start of the game. As you start the first level 'The Getaway', the Robo Collector will make an appearance and start grabbing all your friends. All you have to do is make sure you're directly underneath him, hold and then spam (B) to attack him. Make sure you're hitting his main body and not the basket.

As long as you keep up with him and destroy him before the end, the achievement will unlock. Remember to use the rewind feature if you don't succeed.
