Kick in the little blue imps. You can use them as you get the potions.
Sometimes they drop more than two so keep hitting them. A green imp will drop meat not potions.

On the first level there is stone ridge, jump onto that from the side I couldn't seem to jump on from the front so i lost an potion.

At the first camp site, the imp will drop 2, make sure you pick them up as there is a short amount of time before the next level will load.

On the second level, a first wave of people will travel past, and you'll fight 3 warriors one on a dragon, there will be another imp that will drop 3. Don't keep the dragon as It much harder to hit the small guys while mounted.

At the second camp site there will be 3.

On the third level you will have to jump over a large hole once you do, a blue guy will appear, try not to knock him down the hole, he will give you two. I used the dragon here to prevent this. Once you have beaten the two big hammer guys, a blue guy will show who will give you 3 more, this is where i got the achievement.

Great solution from -thetrimjim- may i just add though that you can also go to settings which you can change factors like difficulty and health/lives on games which is handy on this, you can also use continues so you don't really need to worry bout saving, just do it in a single play-through. if you attack every blue little dwarf you meet quickly you should get 2-3 each and you'll achieve this by or on stage 3.
