How to unlock the Get Rich achievement in SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection - Definitive Guide

To get this achievement you will need to get 1000 currency, go into the options and change the difficulty to easy so you get some more lives. Now just open every crate and destory every bad guy and car you see for currency. At the start of the very first level (rookie town) you will see a car kill this for the money then approach the two chest's full of money just part that. Now break them open and kill the small planes and car. Now about 4-5 steps from where the last crate was there is apart of the floor that can be broken open if you just keep jump attacking on top of it. In the room you go into there will be some crates and some more bad guys for coins.

That secret room is a pita to get out off still I can't fault the solution only myself lol cheers

Don't bother killing enemies just avoid them and destroy 5 crates on level 1 for 100 each and then die, you will re-start at the beginning of the level and the five crates would have respawned for you to collect again for your 1000 point target.

Destroying enemies won't be worth as much (only about 20) as destroying chests (either 40 or 100), and the pretty meh combat system makes fighting more risky than it needs to be. So, if you can, just evade the enemies rather than attack. Do the shortcut on the first level right, and you'll probably get the achievement halfway through level 2.

Lastly, don't gamble. Even if you win, I don't think you get your money back. Even if you do, it's not worth the risk.

easy method is changing difficulty to easy through settings, destroy a few crates and drop underground on the first level (very easy coins down there)
die and repeat and you should get it fairly quickly.

This trophy is straight forward. You get currency from the treasure chests in this game.

Just punch the treasure chests from the sides to open them and collect the coins/bags.

When you get 1000 currency, you will get this trophy.

Just punch/kick any enemy you see, and break open chests, as they both dispense coins. Do not bother doing the paper rock scissors mini-game, it will take you more time. Should have enough coins in the second level.

You can also collect everything up to the end of the first level and die, then all the chests will have respawned. You can get 1,000 before using all your lives this way.
