How to unlock the SEGA Rally achievement in SEGA Superstars Tennis - Definitive Guide

You are most likely to get this after a bit of practice - however the trick is to try and keep hitting the ball in the center of the court so that it is just going back and forth in the middle - this way the computer won't try too hard to catch you out. Alternatively you can just do this with the second controller playing as the opponent in a local match.

You should set the difficulty to Normal. It can be hard to get a long rally going with the Easy CPU because he loses too soon, or the Hard CPU because he wins too soon.

I found this easiest to do in any doubles match, with me and 3 computers. I suggest if there is more than one controller being used (whether on Xbox Live, or local) that a separate human control it, it's much easier to only control one character.

The reason doubles is so much better, is that if the person in front misses, the person in back can recover and keep the rally going. Computers count as hits no matter what - on a Hum/CPU team, CPU/CPU team, doesn't matter.

Simply get 40 hits (20 each team) without anyone scoring, and you'll have this achievement very fast.

This achievement is easiest achieved the same way as "Top Gun," but instead set the match up with the following settings:

Courts - Random
Games - 1 Game
Sets - 1 Set
Server - any setting will do
COM Level - Easy

Once you start up the match, put both characters near the center of their side of the court, and then serve the ball towards the center of the court on the other side then get your finger on on each controller. Then hit on one controller, then on the other controller to rally it back and forth. As long as you don't hit a direction to aim your shot the ball should stay in the center going back and forth between the sides. Keep alternating between both controllers pressing and the achievement will unlock as soon as you reach 40.
