How to unlock the Starting Grid achievement in SEGA Superstars Tennis - Definitive Guide

Play through singles matches with each character, playing the next character in the roster. This will help you work toward the "Beat them All" Achievement at the same time.

Set the matches for 1 set, 3 games, and the CPU difficulty to Easy. The characters you need to earn wins as are as follows:

1. Sonic the Hedgehog
2. Ai-Ai
3. NiGHTS
4. Ulala
5. Beat
6. Tails
7. Samba (de Amigo)
8. Dr. Eggman

Also, you can do this while trying to get your 10 Player Match wins over Xbox Live.

The guy is called Samba de Amigo I think. That's why.

You can set it to 1 game, 1 set for every character and still get this achievement.

I found a simpler way. If you have another controller, you can log it in with a Guest account or another account.

Match Settings:
1 Set
1 Game
Server Front
Com Level Easy (But doesn't matter since you have a guest account)

And play against the original 8 that were available:
1. Sonic the Hedgehog
2. Ai-Ai
3. NiGHTS
4. Ulala
5. Beat
6. Samba
7. Tails
8. Dr. Eggman

But all credit goes to Vermin360 for original idea.

Simply load up a local match and set it to 1 round, then choose each of the starting players and win a match with them.

For this you must win a match with each of the 8 starting characters, who are:

Sonic, AiAi, NiGHTS, Ulala, Beat, Amigo, Tails, & Dr. Eggman

Set up a match with the following settings:

Courts - Random
Games - 1 Game
Sets - 1 Set Match
Server- Which ever your player is (Front or back)

Then go through the list above, and win a match with each of the 8 characters to unlock the achievement.
