How to unlock the Nocturnal achievement in Serial Cleaner - Definitive Guide
There is a very quick way of earning this achievement in a matter of minutes.
From Main Menu, select Story Contracts. Then click LT to bring up Challenges Menu. Select Endless Cleaning from the Night Challenges column.
Once the game starts up, immediately hit Start and click on Main Menu. Then choose Restart.
You will notice each game will register as progress made towards the achievement. Now do this 20 times and the achievement will unlock.

Since the original method there appears to have been a patch that means you need to modify slightly how you go about doing it - but not by much, and it's quicker.
Go to Contract 2, Press LT > Night Challenges > Endless Cleaning.
Once the level loads > Pause > Main Menu > Next Contract.
Once the next level loads > Pause > Main Menu > Next Contract...etc etc.
This should get you to 17 or so, then you actually go to Main Menu and start the process again for the last 3 towards the achievement.

The amount of night contracts is far outnumbered by daytime; however, this can also be obtained by performing Night Challenges. Due to this, I'd simply suggest Contract 01: Time Trial (Night). You can run through the level in :20 seconds, restart, and repeat.
To start, rush left and either run along the gate south of the guard's cone or wait for him to turn left, pick up the watch, and stand beside the truck. The second guard should start moving south as the first guard turns and sees the missing watch. Move up, get the corpse, move back down, and run along the gate once more when the second guard moves and the first guard looks away. Deposit the corpse, drive off. The whole process takes :19-:20 seconds, meaning it is much faster than trying to do the limited night contracts that are immediately available through the story itself.

See I Can See Clearly Now.
Serial Cleaner has a feature where it uses your IP address to determine the time of day you are playing. If you are playing in the day, the contract takes place in the day and vice versa. Complete levels during that time of day to unlock the achievement. You can also play in challenge mode, they both have day and night missions. You must finish the level to completion for it to count towards "Nocturnal" or "I Can See Clearly Now."

You can complete the first mission at night 20 times in a row against the clock. On average it takes about 20 seconds.
