Another thing is, you don't have to complete the contract for it to count. Just make sure to get 100% of the blood.

I vacuumed all the blood in contract 5 but then was caught while moving a body and it still counted.

Just watch the Blood percentage at the top of the screen. It will tell you something like 0/60, with 60 being whatever percent of all blood on screen that you have to collect to accomplish the mission. Just keep cleaning past that number until you get to 100/60.

When you've already gotten all the blood in a mission, it will leave a "100% Blood" badge on the Contract selection screen.

Some general advice: First, keep in mind that several hiding places give you an option of where you exit. The truck cab outside the gas station, for example, is much more useful because you can get in on one side and out on the other. Just push the stick to the desired side before exiting. Second, remember that some of the blood pools are dynamically placed. If you just can't get one, restart the mission and see if it moves to a more advantageous spot.

I keep getting to 99% clean and then find it impossible to find that last 1%. 3 times on three different maps, not fun.

I ran into the same problems. I went back over the map again where I had cleaned blood before and went over it again. You have to angle yourself against walls to get all the blood along the walls.

replaying a level is great advice. Sometimes it is 10 times easier the second or third time you play due to the RNG on blood/body/evidence locations. ty

In addition to the other guides, there’s one piece of information that makes this achievement much easier: you do not have to complete the contract for the 100% status to save.

This means you can either replay a completed mission, get 100% blood and ignore all other objectives. Simply collect 100%, get caught and then exit to main menu - you’ll see the 100% badge on the contract.

Likewise, you can start a new mission by concentrating on the blood. If you’re at 100% and get caught, you won’t need to collect 100% again on your retry.

Contract 18 is the last contract level that will have any blood (19 and 20 are simply story fillers). The challenge here comes with all of the guards that are in the way. Slip into the Main Menu > Contracts page and roll over all of the contracts. Not all of the levels require blood, but if you look at them, some of them will actually show 100% over the contract page; this is proof that you've gotten 100% of the blood in the level.

Contracts 03-07, 09-12, 14-18. That's 14/20 levels that should have 100% tagged.

This one glitched for me. Did 100% on all story contracts and it did not unlock upon reaching 100% on contract 17. I replayed it, no success.

However, I managed to unlock it by replaying the game after deleting cloud and xbox save on this game, I also uninstalled and installed it back just to be safe. I played it back to back in one sitting. You only need to do it up until the rooftops contract, I think 17th, there are no more contracts involving blood after that. I unlocked it as soon as I reached 100% clean and I hadn't even finished the contract yet.
It sucks if it glitches, but it is fixable and the game itself is not long.

Warning: This trophy must be done during your initial playthrough and not via Contract select, else there's a high chance it will glitch and not pop.

Within some contracts, there will be a certain amount of blood you have to clean up in order to progress and in order to get this trophy, you must reach 100% blood cleaned whenever possible. This is not as hard as it sounds. Not every contract has blood in it at all and you can simply ignore the ones that don't have any. The contracts you must complete are 3-7, 9-12 and 14-18. The rest have no blood and after you complete them normally, can be skipped over entirely using the contract select feature. As an added note, you don't need to complete the mission for the amount of blood cleaned to register. As soon as the counter at the top left of the screen reaches 100, you can quit to the main menu. On the contracts you have done this on, there should be an emblem that says you've cleaned up 100% of the blood to help you keep track.

Throughout the story campaign, there are levels that require you to clean a certain percentage of blood before proceeding to the next level. Clean 100% blood before finishing the level.
