Chapter 4: Roadside Picnic - Recommend Tourist Difficulty
When you come across the tank, do not enter and walk right past. The requirement is completing this section without using the tank.
On Tourist difficulty, you shouldn't have too hard a time just playing like a normal Serious Sam game (Circle strafing is your friend!). The enemies are plentiful, and as soon as the two turrets notice you and you hear their distinctve horn noise, make a beeline for those just to get them out of the way and to make your day a little easier.

Alternatively, use T.A.C.T’s (air strikes) to take care of the Turrets and just spam Time Warps to keep the enemies at bay while you run for the exit. Even easier with infinite ammo activated.

should explain how to destroy the large turrets without the tank- wait till it overheats, then shoot rockets below the midpoint where the steam comes out
