How to unlock the ChAIRness achievement in Shadow Complex Remastered - Definitive Guide

I think the best way to achieve this is to use this video:

He has a time of 2h54m on a fresh file starting on level 1 without any sequence break or skips so if you've unlocked the golden gun room and pick up the inertial Element you can beat itmuch faster even if you die alot! I died like 10 times and still made it in 2h33m (#5 Campaign Highscore Leaderboards) on my first try!

After collecting 12 gold bars the golden gun room opens up. It is located next to the room where you find the first hand gun.

As a tip, pressing the back button will bring up the map and freeze the timer (you can see it in the top left). So if you are following a guide, doing this will give you plenty of time to do so.

Nice guide, showed some shortcuts that I didn't thought of using. Finished in 2:07. I think it is possible to finish in under 2 hours but you won't have a lot of room to screw things.
In the video he listen to the enemy soldier conversations at the beginning and you can ignore it and attack them. Also there are a few parts where he misses a lot, especially when using the hook to climb ceiling vents so there are a lot of room for errors in this run, especially if you have experience with either the game or metroidvanias.

Man was this a pain in the ass. Did manage to have a lot of leeway though, I used a 1hr 36m speed run guide so I had a ton of time to work with off that. Initially was trying to see if I could knock out the 2hr achievement also, but that was a fairy tale. Ended up getting it in 2hr 48m. Had a lot of deaths and mistakes, also had to backtrack.

Stupid achievement. That's all I can say. Hate that achievements of beat the game in 3, 4, 5 runs. You got sick of the game.

BOLLOCKS!
My time: 3hr 1min 13sec.
Items: 99% (somehow I missed a Missile)

I skipped all cut scenes and defeated the boss in less than 80 secs.

I died several times thinking that reloading "previous" save would revert to "previous" time. Wrong. Time continues. Must dashboard quit and reload the entire game.

I followed this video exactly (I thought). Wasted my entire morning and afternoon.

If anyone wants to do this with a New Game + save, I used this playlist from the Xbox 360 version for my completion.

I managed it in 1:56:27, so I also got Jason Bailey. I could have probably been even faster, but I made mistakes and had to be a bit more cautious since I was on Insane and my level was in the mid-30s when I started it. (Although I did complete a few sections faster than the creator of the videos. They made some mistakes, as well.)

STACKABLE with Jason Bailey

I strongly advise going for this Trophy before Jason Bailey because that way, you may acquire these both at once saving another playthrough. It's not to hard to earn this in 2hrs using my route. There is room for error, but not much. If you don't manage to complete this in 2hrs, but you will manage 3hrs, you will still earn this trophy, but it just means you will have to acquire Jason Bailey by itself, which will be very easy on Casual with no time lost.

Use the route shown in my guide. Make sure you are over level 30 (so Infinite Foam is unlocked) and that you use the Golden Inertial Element.

Here is the video guide here; https://www.playstationtrophies.org/f...e-1-30hrs.html

Use the route shown in my guide, make sure you are over level 30 (so Infinite Foam is unlocked) and that you use the Golden Inertial Element.

MISSABLES;
There are only 2 missable Items and that is the Inertial Element Weapon and 1 Grenade Pack. Although these are easily obtained, they can be easily missed if not following a guide and will stop you from acquiring 100%. This will affect ANY of the 100% Trophies and the collect all Grenade Packs Trophy. These are found:

* 1 Grenade Pack - This is located near the centre of the map where you will find a broken Minecart track next to a very long shaft which is flooded at the bottom.

Head right on this Minecart track, and you will find the Grenade Pack in a hidden hole in the wall where the Minecart's come from.

Just above the center of the Minecart track is a contraption that you must activate in order to reach the Minecart track from above. You will notice that the working parts of this vontraption glows red when you shine the Flashlight on it. Later on, you must shoot this with the Missile to reveal another area, but in doing so will cause a Minecart to block the path to the Grenade Pack, but this will not happen until the area refreshes.

So, you either collect the Grenade Pack before destroying the contraption, or you collect the Grenade Pack immediately after destroying it.

* Inertial Element - This is the most powerful gun and is acquired almost end-game.

Near the end of the game, you will lower a bridge which reveals a door to another area. Enter through this door and after exiting the elevator, the Inertial Element can be found by crawling through a vent above in the next room.

At the end of this area, you will experience a cutscene where this small section will self-destruct. Once you have done this and escaped, you can no longer re-enter this area so make sure you grab the weapon before.

Using the same strategy as "Jason Bailey" should work. Insane difficulty will probably add about 30 minutes to you run.

Here's a walkthrough video. Be sure to skip cutscenes as the timer continues to run during cutscenes. It is recommended to pass with at least character level 30 for endless foam.
