HERE IT IS! THE FASTEST, MOST EFFICIENT, LEAST BORING WAY TO EARN XP INSANELY FAST!
MAX LEVEL IN 3 HOURS! 1 Run will take ~8-10min and you need 20 runs to get from level 1 to level 50! You can pause in the last few seconds of the video to take a look at a statistics of the runs I did. So if you're level 40 when you start this method, you can see that it will only take you 9 more runs to get to level 50. I hope this helps as it helped me insanely! This is good. But for some reason I am getting a 5x multiplier at the end. Perhaps auto aim off gives you 1x more on the multiplier? I will test it quickly as I've been wondering why I get a 3x multiplier to start with 1 melee.

I'm not sure why I'm getting the 3x to start? Maybe it is something after beating the game? Oh well, that little extra boost probably just means a 2-3 less runs maybe. Solid guide though. +1

Exp is acquired from:
- Killing enemies
- Collecting items
- Map discovery

Exp also constantly carries across every single save.

Should come naturally but if not, follow this farming method:

 

  1. Begin on Insane, then make your way to the first Spider Boss and destroy it.
  2. Now quickly head to the nearby save room so it saves, then quit the game.
  3. Now begin a New game on Insane again.
  4. Make your way all the way back to the Spider Boss as soon as possible and kill it.
  5. Now quickly head to the nearby save room so it saves, then quit the game.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 until you reach your desired level.

This can be a bit of a grind but because it carries over between runs you are always making progress. I would worry about this last. There are several methods for farming this. One is to play on insane up until you kill the first spider boss then restart. Working towards "Jason Bailey" and "ChAIRness" are also going to give a lot of XP.

You gain experience from:
  • - Killing opponents
  • - Collecting items
  • - Study the map

An important point: all experience is also saved when you reach the save room.
You will get this trophy anyway if you go for platinum , but if suddenly this does not happen, then there is an excellent method for farming experience:

1. Start a new game on Insane difficulty
2. Get to the Spider Boss and destroy him. Save your progress in the save room.
3. Quit the game.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 until you reach the desired level 50.
