This has been listed in detail on the 360 versions Achievement page. But, I did notice a difference that might affect anyone who is playing this game for the first time and wants the Achievement.

After going through the game a bit, you'll find yourself back outside of the base, but it'll be above the beginning waterfall area. This'll be different for everyone, because that's how this game is. I personally was able to do it the first time I ended up above the Base (which was a little bit away from the waterfall area), but most people will probably want to wait until they have the double jump. Once you have the Double Jump (the first piece of the suit), you can head back to the Waterfall/Cave Area (The start of the game), Double Jump and Wall Climb until you're back up in the area where you see your Jeep in the background. Walk over, line yourself up with the Jeep and press B. Its that easy.

One thing that I noticed was there wasn't a prompt to press the B button and I could've swore it prompted you on the 360 version. That's the weird thing that kinda through me off and might throw off others. This is probably my favorite 360 game ever and that's one of the main reasons I decided to add a guide for this Achievement. Plus I wanted to help out, of course. I've been on TA for many years, but this is the first time I have ever added a guide for anything. If you notice any mistakes or anything, please let me know. Glokas please, you are my only hope! I got every achievement except for the <3h Insane run, reaching Level 50 and the Old Dog, New Tricks acheivement (do all melee attacks), That one seems to be bugged for me, I've done over 600 melee kills in my 6 playthroughs from every position possible, hundreds from above, hanging below, standing on crates , jumping over things, running towards them, multiple enemies, etc. I'm pretty sure I've even seen all different moves in every stance/position possible by now but the achievement still doesn't unlock... I thought it might has something to do with me having changed controls before beginning but I changed it back to normal about 3 playthroughs ago... Is there a special one I'm missing? I'm so desperate, needing this stupid cheevo really hurts my motivation to do the final run :( Oh and I've played on casual in all six playthroughs (except some short xp farming session where I switched to insane), could that be the problem? I know you're the man in this game and it seems nobody on the internet can help me, this is the third forum I'm posting in :(

Ah yes Ratpoizen, I can help you with that no problem! It'll be best achieved during your second run, once you have the Golden Guns. Initially they only appear in your first run before you get that gun unfortunately. Although, I'm sure speed runners probably know a trick to do it early. Get the Inertial Element and once you make it to the long corridor where you're blocked by the guy that is in the big beefed up Armor, that's the XOS-1 Soldier. You'll face 2 of them at once at a later portion of the game, so no worries if you make a mistake on your first run in, although it is pretty much a given. Keep firing on him steady with the Inertial Element, you'll actually shoot through his blue energy bullets and he'll go down quickly. Once he explodes, boop: You got it! Oh wow, I forgot to say that you WILL be able to Continue from your last Save, after the Cut Scene and Credits run ( Which is a funny scene, but you can skip them both). You can definitely set up a close place to Save before you do it, easily.

Thanks for the info about Claire getting in the jeep. I didn't think about that. Indeed the achievement is not possible after this happens. Just got the achievement on my Insurgent/Minimalist run.

Glokas: Can you help me with how to kill an X0S-1 Soldier with the Intertial Element? I can't see a guide for it and it's also a new achievement for the remastered version. I think I know what the XOS-1 Soldier is but I don't have the weapon until afterwards? I'm guessing it will require to start a new game and going into the golden gun room? Sorry for asking, just read that you love the game :)))))

I just got the achievement on my "Gets Better With Age" run. Funny thing is, I have completed this on the 360 and hardly remember the game at all. Certainly don't recall the golden run room or the neat skip you need to do for an Insurgent playthrough.

No problem at all! I think the reason the 360 game doesn't help as much with this one, as far as achievements and memory goes, is that the achievements where very straight forward on the 360. You really had to do the in-game achievement\challenges to fully experience it all it seems. I had problems myself due to the fact that I hadn't really played the game in 5 odd years. Now I'm crazy rusty and I'm also not focusing directly on it, like I should be. Looks like a sequel is on the way though!

Advice:
-Keep the content of the guide strictly as information that helps other players to unlock the achievement. Save your personal feelings about it for the forums.
-Any relevant info you bring up in response to questions should also be included in the guide.
-Note you can edit your guide after your 1st draft.

But this is probably the best arcade game ever from Xbox Marketplace.

I've been searching all over the top area for the Jeep and I can't find it. I'm at the very end of the game and have everything at 100%. This is just before I fight the final boss. I suppose the Jeep is gone because I decided to save the girl before using the Jeep myself. I suppose that's how this achievement works. I don't know yet.

Just to clarify FYI, your last chance to get this one done (when following mission objectives) is shortly after picking up the friction dampener when the new objective sends you way back over to the right side of the map to save Claire. If you're like me and put this one off for awhile then this is still the perfect opportunity to get it because the blue line for the objective sends you over the surface area of the map and RIGHT through the spot with the jeep. This objective ends with you picking up your first missles, fighting off two big bad body armor thugs (the XOS) and finally a cutscene where Claire leaves in the jeep. So make sure you press B on that jeep BEFORE all this happens.

Can you get this achievement at any point in the game? (but later than you said). I have 100% items but yet to finish the game as I'm getting some of the random ach's out the way on my current run. Just curious because I can't see my Jeep anywhere.

You know what, there's a cut scene where Claire gets in the jeep and leaves. The achievement may be toast after that. But you can get it on a subsequent play through easily. I'll test it out during one of my many runs and see if that's the case. Sorry about that though. It would be nice to get it out of the way in the first run.

Early in the game, you will come across a cutscene of Claire being taken away in a helicopter.

Once this happens, defeat the enemies afterwards and run straight left to your Jeep just above where you start. Be careful you don't fall down the hole straight after the save room as you make your way back, and don't fall down next to the Jeep. If you do fall down, just load your last save to spawn back in the top save room. If using the route in my guide, you will have double-jump at this point so it will be easier. Interact with the Jeep to activate a cutscene and acquire this Trophy.

Once you reload your save afterwards, you will find that the game has saved at the Jeep meaning you have to make your way all the way back to the Helicopter. If you want to prevent this and save a small amount of time, make a backup of your save before you reach the Jeep in the first place for the Trophy. Then once you have the Trophy, transfer your save back across and you will be back at the earlier save point near where the helicopter was.

This is an easter egg ending. Play through normally until you see Claire get taken away in a helicopter. Kill the Soldiers and the Devastator. Instead of continuing to the right, turn around and run left until you go through the save room. Head left and sprint jump and you should just barely catch a ledge. If you miss, STOP! If you don't enter the save room at the bottom, you can reload last save and not have to climb back up. Once across, continue to the left being sure to jump over any gaps (if you fall, reload). Once you reach the Jeep where you started the game press Use () to trigger the "ending". Once you are back at the main menu you can load up the save to continue from the Jeep with your progress intact

This trophy is missable

Earlier in the game, you will see a cutscene in which Claire is kidnapped in a helicopter.
Once this happens, kill all the enemies, turn left and run across the map back to your jeep where you started your journey/acquaintance with the game. Be careful if you accidentally fall into one of the chasms along the way - just reload your save.

Once next to the jeep, activate the cutscene by pressing
