How to unlock the Welcome Back Jester achievement in Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew - Definitive Guide
Virgilio is the last character you'll unlock and probably the last achievement you need.
He can be resurrected at 85% overall progression, so you'll unlock all the %-based achievements along the way.
In the comments, el p1nko posted some progression-percentage calculations. I can't confirm that personally, but you might wanna try it. But from my experience, playing the story with badges in mind, you can complete this achievement relatively quick anyway while playing on easy mode.
If you want to minimise the required amount of replays, try to complete badges while doing the story. You can't do all of them, but some missions allow for 6/6. Here's a good guide, that covers most of the badges:
https://steamcommunity.com/id/voit-peak/myworkshopfiles/?sec...
Some are straight forward, but if you want a full list of badges, check the spoilers below. Some badges require unlocked skills, or make them a lot easier. There are multiple badges for crewmembers, but they are usually something like kills, skills used, or completed missions on every island. Most of the other crew badges can be completed with partial mission replays. Remember, unlocked badges are saved right away, but if you fail something, you can always reload and the mistake is undone. (except the no reload badge obviously). Something i noticed, some progress towards kill-related badges resets when you reload (like Teresas Iron Judgement) and some don't). For the NO KILLS, you can knock out enemies (hold and press to switch between killing and knocking out). If you're not allowed to attack at all, that includes K.O. attacks, but distractions are fine. Custodes NEVER count as kills as you need them to unlock the exit and so are the enemies affected by their stun. Try to lure as many guards as possible into the stun range. :)

I am not 100% sure how the completion percentage is calculated, but I think by now I have a pretty good guess and there are some infos you might add to the guide:
The best badges seem to be the global ones, where each one I think gives 0.37% progress.
Next are the island ones, which give 0.2% to 0.3% each.
The crew badges are about 0.1% each (a bit more for Afia).
The missions:
I recommend doing only missions on islands with a LOW number of missions (less than 10).
The way the game calculates the completion percentage the missions on islands with lots of missions are the absolute worst, e.g. the 30 mission islands only give you 0.066% of progress for each mission badge.
e.g. on Iron Bay in total for all Island badges you get 2% total completion for 10 badges, but you also get 2% total completion for 30 (!) mission badges.
To prove this: the game was showing me a total of 75% Iron Bay completion when I had done all 30 mission badges, but only 5 of the 10 island badges.
Which means the 10 island badges count for as much as the 30 mission badges or in other words they count 3 times as much.

Had some issues with the island challenges.
On the map Twins the kill everyone challenge seemed to only work when running the daytime mission. I read a tip about it somewhere after I didn't get credit for the challenge on my first go when I tried to do that in combination with extinguish all lanterns. The lantern one didn't count at all even after I reloaded my save and killed the reinforcements that come in when the bell is rung.
On Iron Bay the kill everyone challenge "Give them no quarter" never counted. I tried reloading and killing the last few guy different ways, no luck. I definitely had no triangles left on the map. Got me thinking that maybe an environmental kill didn't give credit towards that challenge. Not sure if so because I wasn't gonna do that whole shit a second time over.

This guide was translated automatically.
First you need to complete the entire main story, then you need to bring the "General Progress" to 85%.
