How to unlock the Bleeding Edge achievement in Shadow of the Tomb Raider - Definitive Guide

All three of these are rewards for completing the "Echoes of the Past" side mission that comes the DLC, so you cannot unlock this achievement without first unlocking

Once you have completed the side mission, go to a base camp and equip the Umbrage 3-80 Shade rifle and the Brocken Shadow outfit. Note that both of these are variations on similarly named items that were bundled with the DLC, so be sure that you are equipping these exact items, not their more vanilla counterparts.

The Grenadier skill is already learned; you don't have to do anything at the base camp to make it happen. If you need to check this, hit cn_back and tab over to your Survival Guide, then scroll down to "Skills" near the bottom (not "Skills: Warrior", etc., just "Skills"), and you will see it.

Once you have equipped the rifle and outfit, the achievement will unlock.

Just a heads up, if you can't figure out why you can't change outfits, you might be at the point in the game where you are

You can NOT change your outfit at ANY camp IN the Hidden City

If you fast travel somewhere completely outside of the Hidden City, you can change your outfit...

Good point, Warboy925. In fact, whenever I know I'm going to be messing around in my inventory, I usually fast travel to the Temple Ruins base camp in Kuwaq Yaku, because all inventory options are available, I can equip any weapon I want, I can craft special ammo, and there's a merchant nearby.

I’m
In the outfit and equipped weapon but the achievement isn’t unlocking.. both items are the shade counterpart..

I found that I had to exit the camp fire for the achievement tounlock

You need to have made it far enough into the game. Thanks for the help. I was confused when I didn't get the achievement with the main one.

I know! When I saw this achievement, I had the Umbrage 3-80 vanilla rifle equipped and couldn't figure out what was wrong. When I figured it out, I felt stupid, but I knew other people might get off track, just like I did. The response to the solution indicates I was right!

You will unlock/aquire the required items as followed:

Grenadier Skill:

Is unlocked automatically once you finished "The Forge" tomb. There is no skillpoint necessary to aquire it.

Umbrage 3-80 Shade:

Do not mistake it with the black version which you get right when you start the DLC. The ones required for the trophy has a RED weapon skin and you will get is automatically once you've talked to Abby and Pilar in Kuwaq Yaku, your final objective (return to Pilar's house) after completing "The Forge" tomb.

Brocken Shadow outfit:

Also aquired after you have completed "The Forge" tomb and after you talked to Abby and Pilar in Kuwaq Yaku. The outfit is the one with the RED boots not the black ones.

Once obtained everything simply go to the next campfire and equip all required items and exit the campfire and the trophy will unlock! wave

Once you have completed the new Challenge Tomb in the "Echoes of the Past" side mission, you will automatically unlock the Grenadier Skill. Then, once you complete the side mission entirely, you will be rewarded the Umbrage 3-80 Shade and Brocken Shadow outfit.

All you need to do now is head to any base camp and equip the aforementioned weapon and outfit. The achievement will unlock when you back out of the base camp and regain control of Lara.

Use is optional. When you receive a skill, weapon and costume, simply equip Lara with all this in the camp. The skill is installed automatically.
