How to unlock the Completionist achievement in Shadow of the Tomb Raider - Definitive Guide
Some ppl are getting stuck at 99% most likely due to a game bug. Make sure you do the final mission because you get collectibles during it
Nothing is missable. You can collect everything after finishing the game
The collectibles can be a pain to find in this game so I figured I make a video going through the map and showing all the collectibles in each region. Hope it helps

Upvotes are appreciated
-complete the story
-examine the steles in all 9 challenge tombs (basically complete every tomb)
-loot the sarcophagi in all 9 crypts
-complete all 8 side missions
-collect every artifact
-solve all monolith puzzles
-complete all 15 challenges
You don't have to complete the challenge in the Croft Manor flashback. I can confirm that I didn't complete that challenge and still got the achievement. I recommend completing every requirement in full before starting the final mission in the story,
*I had every area of the map marked at 100% before starting the final mission. At that point I only had 2 artifact collections unfinished, but they were completed during the final mission, as they were story related.

This trophy, along with the Dr. Croft trophy, are glitched. Here’s my solution for addressing the issue, which I’ve included in a reply on a forum post on TrueAchievements.
SOLUTION: See “UPDATE 3”
This has happened to me in the most recent update at this point (v2.01 on the PS4). I’ve checked out the post and similar posts on Steam as well. I’ll try the restart the console method and if that doesn’t work, uninstalling the game, restore licenses, reinstalling the game, restore licenses and then hopefully it works. This is what happens when they rush it to market without checking thoroughly through for issues. Even the recent patches haven’t solved the problems either.
UPDATE 1
I’ve saved my game save at Paititi Market and then restarted the console. After I’ve turned my console back on and loaded the game as usual, it stated 100% for Mission of San Juan however the trophies/achievements of Dr. Croft and Completionist haven’t popped up. So. Maybe I’ll save the game at Mission of San Juan and attempt the restart console trick there, I’ll update this post again in a little while.UPDATE 2
I’ve attempted that approach at Mission of San Juan, the trophies haven’t popped up. I’ve found a post on PlayStation Trophies that explains why this issue happens. Apparently, the final boss mission has collectibles in it which count towards the collectibles in the Mission of San Juan region. Here’s the link to the reply on the post on PlayStation Trophies: Link to Comment - Heads Up: Dr. Croft and Completionist are Glitched (v1.03) - Shadow of the Tomb Raider Forum - Forums - PlayStationTrophies (Forum Comment)UPDATE 3 (SOLUTION)
After completing the final story mission, the trophies popped. So, the comment mentioned by another player on the PlayStation Trophies forum was correct. From what I saw, you were given a few items during the final story mission, these items are:- Unuratu’s Amulet (Artifact > The Resistance)
- The Crimson Fire (Photograph > Lara’s Notebook)
- Ix Chel Mask (Artifact) (Temporary)
- Key of Chak Chel (Artifact) (Temporary)
This solution also works for the same issue on the Xbox version and the Steam version, respectively.
In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, reaching 100% completion is defined as meeting the following criteria:
- Find all 378 collectibles
- Complete all Artifact Collections
- Finish all 13 side missions
- Complete all 15 Challenges
- Complete all 9 Challenge Tombs
- Complete all 10 Crypts
Fortunately, none of the items that are required for this achievement are missable and they can be completed and/or obtained after completing the story via free-roam. It's also worth noting here to be on the lookout for Archivist Maps and Explorer Backpacks because interacting with these items will help reveal other collectibles (documents, murals, relics, survival caches, etc.) on the world map. Lastly, when looking at the world map, each region will have a tracker on the upper left-hand corner of the screen, which can be used to see how many collectibles/items you have found versus how many you are still missing.
It is highly recommended you focus on this achievement during a Smart and Resourceful (Easy) or Rite of Passage (Normal) playthrough, as Survival Instincts, which is extremely helpful for revealing nearby collectibles, is not available on the One with the Jungle (Hard) or Deadly Obsession (Very Hard) difficulties.
To make things even easier when it comes to collectible hunting, there are several Seeker skills that you should aim to unlock as early as possible during your playthrough: Eagle's Sight, Owl's Wisdom, and Owl's Vision.
Provided you have obtained every collectible in the game and thus have 100%'d every region prior to starting the final main story mission, "City of the Serpent," this achievement should unlock immediately after defeating the final boss of the game.
