How to unlock the Echoes of the Furious achievement in Shadow of the Tomb Raider - Definitive Guide

Score attack is harder than time attack but still doable.
Thankfully, only bronze is required.

The key here will be to keep your multiplier up.
Another tip is also to keep a few orbs in places you know you'll come back to in order to keep that counter alive (the center of the elevator is a good example of that).
You'll need 250.000 points for bronze.

For the purpose of the achievement, I only focused on the areas before the elevator.
The elevator is way harder to manage, looting orbs and doing the required moves to make it go up without dying isn't that easy.

Start by playing the level once without aiming for the score.
This step is helpful for you to discover where the lanterns are.

After that, go for the score.
In the first area, I did a full trip and grabbed the orbs on both sides to build up a decent multiplier already.
While entering the 2nd area, grab the orbs nearby then shoot all lanterns from the central platform, they'll make big points by now with the counter.
Same goes for the 3rd area, grab as many orbs as you can before shooting the lanterns to maximize the score.
Using this method I was over 400.000 points (with a counter over 90) by the time I reached the bottom of the elevator and took more time to finish the level to avoid dying.
I ended up at 498.000 points.

Note pour les francophones : la description du succès en FR indique "gagner toutes les médailles" alors que cela devrait être "n'importe quelle médaille". Gagner le bronze est suffisant pour débloquer le succès.

This is a great solution. It has a lot of good tips, and it works. It's too bad it's getting downvotes. I suppose that's because it doesn't have a link to a video on Youtube. But if I wanted to find a video on Youtube, I know where to go. I come to TA for solutions like this one. Thanks and +1.

Your guide was incredible and really helped me out. I took all the areas before the elevator slow to make sure I was getting lamps and what not. Ended up losing my multiplier on the third phase of the elevator since I got confused and messed up but other than that, this guide worked. 100%.

Great solution. Thanks for taking the time to write it out rather than just posting a video! Two things that stood out for me were your point about ignoring the tower - really helped me focus on getting the easier section perfect - and that the red lanterns are worth more points so to wait to collect them.

Got 100K score twice in a row, Realized you can shoot lanterns for added combo multiplier. Got 707k on my next run. Tried to focus on early combo, ended up failing to do so, kept a 100+ multiplier while going up the tower though.

This is pretty straightforward - just score a Bronze or better for this challenge tomb in score attack mode. Here is the video that helped me get there:

In the Main Menu, select the "Challenge Tombs" tab and then choose "The Forge." In the following menu, you can sift through three different modes: Exploration, Score Attack, and Time Attack.

In order to unlock this achievement, you will need to earn any medal in Score Attack. This mode is all about completing the Challenge Tomb (i.e. reaching the stele) all while collecting/shooting wisps of light to increase your score; the quicker you collect these items, the higher your multiplier and score. The medal requirements are as follows:

  • Gold: 1,000,000 points
  • Silver: 525,000 points
  • Bronze: 250,000 points

Again, The Forge isn't too complicated in its puzzles and scoring a bare minimum of 250,000 points shouldn't be difficult so long as you keep your multiplier up and move quickly. If, however, you'd like some visual guidance in order to get this done, please refer to THIS VIDEO, courtesy of Victor Rose23x.

You don't have to qualify for gold or silver - just bronze is enough, and you'll get the trophy.
