How to unlock the Specialized achievement in Shadow of the Tomb Raider - Definitive Guide

The three skill categories are Seeker (blue), Warrior (orange), and Scavenger (green). Each category has 4 or 5 skills that are unlocked through story progression, 3 that are rewards for completing challenge tombs, and 12 that are unlocked by applying skill points at base camps. The total number of points needed to unlock all of the skills in each category are 23 for Seeker, 20 for Warrior, and 24 for Scavenger.

Each category has at least one skill that won't be unlocked until you've completed about 3/4 of the campaign, and by that time you will have earned enough points to unlock maybe 20-25 of the elective skills, so for the first half of the game, don't worry about dumping all of your points into one category; you should probably go for a balanced build and at least acquire all of the 1-point skills in each category. Once you get into the second half of the game (i.e. reach the Hidden City), you should start focusing about half of your skill points on one category of the three. I chose Scavenger because it seemed like all of its skills were useful. If you don't rely on Survival Instincts, many of the Seeker skills can't help you, and so many of the Warrior skills are bow-specific. But if focusing on Seeker or Warrior fits your playstyle better, do that.

EDIT: HolyHalfDead comments that Seeker and Scavenger can be completed once you reach the Hidden City, but Warrior cannot, so if you're in a hurry for some reason, don't go for Warrior.

@SangheliSlayer that is quite odd about your TA profile; I don't know what to say about that. As for unlocking it on your Xbox, try 1) loading a different save then going back to that one; 2) quitting to the dashboard, restarting, and reloading your game; or even 3) powering down your console and restarting/reloading. That has helped me and others in similar situations with this game.

When you get to the Hidden City you can unlock all the storyline Seeker and Scavenger skills. You will also have access to all the Seeker and Scavenger tombs. So if you are trying to get this quickly, do not go for Warrior. For me everything in Scavenger was unlocked first, so I used my skill points on green.

For some reason this achievement didn't unlock on my Xbox, even though I have acquired all the Scanvenger skills. It is also weird that the achievement does show up unlocked on my TrueAchievements profile.

In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, skills are broken down into three distinct categories: Seeker (blue), Scavenger (green), and Warrior (red). You will earn a skill point each and every time you fill up the XP meter, which is done by collecting documents and relics, interacting with murals, deciphering Monoliths, and completing main story missions, side missions, and Challenges.

While you have the skill menu open at a base camp, you will notice that some skills in each of the three categories (often time refered to in this guide as "trees") are locked; some of them will unlock through natural story progression, while others will unlock once you interact with a stele inside a Challenge Tomb.

For the purpose of this achievement, it's highly recommended to focus your attention on one skill tree alone over the course of your playthrough. The Scavenger tree offers the most viable stealth- and exploration-related skills, so it's recommended to focus on the green skills to help strengthen Lara in an efficient manner. Alternatively, feel free to focus on the Seeker or Warrior skill trees if those skill are more suited toward your playstyle.
