Shadow of the Tomb Raider

To unlock this side mission, you must reach the part of the campaign where you talk to Itzli in the "upper city" section of the cult area of the Hidden City. You should discover the "Upper City Main Gate" base camp while you're there, because it will be a good place to fast travel back to later. You then need to complete the "Stay of Execution" side mission, which takes place just ahead and to the left of where you spoke with Itzli. You can start the Two Graves side mission immediately after Stay of Execution, or any time thereafter.

The mission giver is Hakan, the prisoner you rescued in the Stay of Execution side mission. You will find him near the "Village Caves" base camp at the south end of the Hidden City.

Before you begin, take note that the challenge tomb has a lot of target shooting, so be sure to have plenty of pistol ammo, arrows, or whatever you like to shoot targets with. (It doesn't require any rope pulls or tethering, so for me, the pistol is the way to go.) Also, it wouldn't hurt to make sure you have focus herbs in your inventory and invest any unspent skill points in Scales of the Serpent skills (in the Serpent/Scavenger tree) to increase your focus time.

Ready? The side mission begins in the cult area of the city. The quickest and easiest way to get to where you need to go is to fast travel to the Upper City Main Gate base camp. (This will automatically equip the Serpent Guard outfit for you, if you were wearing something else.) Walk downstairs, toward the entrance to the cult area until you reach the objective to begin the mission.

Complete the first section, which has some easy combat and sneaking around in a building where it's easy to get lost. Then go back to the Village Caves and talk to Hakan.

Your next objective is in the abandoned village, which is where you first entered the Hidden City on your way from Kuwaq Yaku and is also a setting for the "Ancient Studies" and "The Dragon and the Prince" side missions. Fast travel to the "Abandoned Village" base camp if you have discovered it; if not, walk there. You don't have to wear the Serpent Guard outfit anymore, so you can change there, if you want. Go to the south end of this area and duck under a tree trunk to continue. Watch Hakan get his ass kicked.

Now you need to complete the Slayer's Gauntlet challenge tomb. Remember the cave in the abandoned village area that's a wolf den? Well, the entrance to the tomb is inside it. One well-placed poison lure arrow will take care of the wolves.

Complete the Slayer's Gauntlet challenge tomb. Remember to use focus herbs if you need more time with the switches, and healing herbs if you're taking damage from spikes or piranhas. This will unlock:


Lara is back in the abandoned village. Go back to where you last saw Hakan. Complete another combat section to finish the side mission. Your acheivement will unlock here, and you will receive the Serpent Lash - Godslayer bow and Dragon Scales - Legend outfit, which you need to unlock:
