There are two pre-requisites for this achievement
Obviously make sure you pick Gaichu to be on your team. A little ways into the level, you'll come across Ku Feng killing a guard. Choose to have her come with you and this achievement should unlock when the dialogue window closes.
Random aside and unrelated to the achievement, you can fill out the monster roster even more by saving the talisman of the ghost from the archeological mission and summoning him here.
- Recruiting Gaichu to your team in the Outsiders mission. This should also unlock Ronin

- Sparing Ku Feng in Exit Stage Left mission. I think you also need to offer to train her to be a better vampire.
