First up you'll need to talk to Racter after every mission to go through his story. He'll ask to go on a mission to recovery some data and it's useful if you bring him along, but not necessary as long as you still retrieve the data. Keep talking to him after the rest of your missions.

Once you've completed the final mission you'll get to the prologue. Go talk to him one last time and the achievement will unlock.
