During the City of Darkness quest there are multiple ways to get past the guards and get access to Bao without killing anyone.
If you have Charisma 3 and Etiquette Gang you can talk your way past.
If you go to the lower levels you can access a terminal by using the code 5465 to open a door, fight two Hellhounds and use a ladder.
Also on the lower levels if you have a decker with you, you can enter another door then hack a terminal to open up another access point.
