You need to be using smoke for somewhere near 60 minutes (The exact number doesn't appear to be known).


The best tactic is to just get this as you're playing. Use an Elf and cast it on and off every match you play, it'll come eventually.



I got this after being in smoke for a lot less than 60 minutes.

The above solution is great but I just want to add that though the achievement says "ignore a great deal of damage" you just need to be in smoke a long time, I've seen people jumping from the top off a map while in smoke and asking why they didn't get the achievement so just to clear it up, you will get this when you've been in smoke for around 60 minutes.
Though Shadowrun has been out for years it still isn't 100% known for how long you must be in smoke, best way is to pick an Elf and use smoke whenever you have Essence and this achievement will be yours after a while.
For me it felt like a lot more then just 60 minutes but like I said, it isn't 100% how long just around an hour in smoke and this achievement will be yours.

Note: when you're in a boosting lobby and trying to get this, make sure there are 4 players on each team otherwise nothing will count.

Also note this has to be done online and not offline vs bots.
