How to unlock the Believer? Or Sucker? achievement in Shadows: Awakening - Definitive Guide

This well is located in the cellar you first transport to at the beginning of the game. Just accumulate at least 999 silver, make a save, throw it into the well to unlock the achievement, and reload the save so you keep the silver! Happy hunting!

This is cumulative you dont need 999 all at once. Throw what you have reload and throw again. Repeat until it unlocks.

Do you still get the rings and hammer if you donate and reload? I didn't get Mjolnir? until I put in 999 silver in a single session. (I put in 5 the first time I was at the well, got a silver ring, came back later put in 5, got a silver ring, put in 100 (I think), got Jarnung Trapper's ring, put in 994, got the 999 achievement, put in 5 more and got Mjolnir?

Anyone try dropping 2000 at one time?

You come across this early ingame. Simply collect enough silver and teleport back when you have enough. Once the well spits out the purple weapon pick it up and trophy pops.

The simplest thing is if you have 999 silver, just throw it away. Quickly press and everything until the trophy appears.

They will also give you the hammer Mjolnir. It’s not bad at first and it’s for Zaar

The well is located in the Tholian basement (you will get there at the very beginning of the game by activating your first cenotaph (portal). You throw off all the coins you have in your pocket, go out into the city, complete a couple of side quests (especially profitable for the head of the silk order - he will ask you to return his family dagger - just at the end, when you give the dagger, demand 500 coins (it won’t rust) then return to the Tolian basement - and throw the missing silver into the well.
