How to unlock the Oldschool achievement in Shadows: Awakening - Definitive Guide

This achievement is currently unobtainable due to a patch that prevents you from activating old school mode from the menu.



Update 7/31/19: I was able to get old school mode to work by deleting the game and reinstalling it offline without the patch.

Brilliant. A++

My character achievement popped on 75% of downloading the updates and Got Gud and Oldschool popped on 98%.

How long would a playthrough for these final Old School achievements take? I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to buy a physical copy.

You can play oldschool mode with the latest update but only works with extreme difficulty. Select oldschool mode then Press A and Dpad UP at the same time. If done correctly oldschool mode will stay activated

Before starting a new game, next to the difficulty selection, select the “enable 90x mode” option. This will turn off the quest markers and you will have to look for everything yourself, for the second playthrough it is quite easy, you need to finish the game completely. I personally had one problem during the passage, when you are sent to talk to Kiri on the quest “Return to Kyalisar”, she is at the Border Outpost, do not look for her in the location where you left her.
