Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will obtain this trophy by defeating the fourth boss in the game (Twitch and Vinegar), found at the end of the first area of Cape Crustacean. The challenge to this fight is there is no solid ground to stand on. Instead, you will have to make do with three carpets that rotate in a small circle on the left side of the screen, while Twitch and Vinegar attack you from the right. You will need to maneuver around these carpets to avoid taking damage. The boss will rotate through three “phases”:

1. Vinegar only. Vinegar is in the long ship and she will fire a steady stream of orbs from the top, bottom, and middle of the screen. The order in which she does this is random. If you have the Mirror, you can reflect her attack back for massive damage. Otherwise, move to the carpet that is furthest away from her attack.
2. Twitch only. Twitch is in the smaller ship and will throw bombs at random. Be careful attacking her, as there is no telling how far she will launch each bomb.
3. Twitch and Vinegar. After they each get a turn to attack, Twitch and Vinegar will combine their ship and fire a laser at the bottom of the screen. Stay near the top, as they will raise the beam towards the middle. Next, they will fire a laser at the top of the screen. Move to the bottom and stay there, as they will lower the beam towards the middle.

They will continue rotating through these phases until both Twitch and Vinegar are defeated. Dodge their attacks, strike back when you see an opening (in between phases is a good time, as Twitch and Vinegar will simply move in a circle without attacking), and watch your footing. You may find the Pike Ball and its upgrades very useful here.
