Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

You will need to beat the game in Beach Mode with Beach Shantae. Beach Mode is very difficult because you're constantly under a time restraint. If you do not pick up sunscreen or fall in water every 10 seconds, you will lose health at a rapid rate. Bosses drop Sunscreen to help you stay alive, but you must be careful to collect them and make them drop them fast enough to be of use to you. You also want to master the use of the bubble to bypass tricky enemies whenever possible.

The Giga Mermaid can be quite difficult in that it will only drop two sunscreens in the first phase, so try to destroy two locks before collecting the sunscreen if you can to get the most mileage out of your time. In part two, it will drop a sunscreen every time it tries to slap you with its' tail. Get by her by attacking her head jewel with the beach ball, rapidly if you can.

Wilbur drops sunscreen when you attack the rocks and the eyeball but for a while you will have to be cautious and grab the sunscreen when it appears.

Ammo Baron is not much of a problem as he and his crew will drop lots of items.

The Dual Barons are hard. You have to attack them fast. It's harder to hit Hypno Baron so it's harder to get sunscreen from him.

To beat the game, you must defeat Risky Boots at the end and then escape the final stage via the lava slide, just like in the main game. Risky Boot’s attack patterns are identical to the main game and so long as you keep hitting her she will regularly drop sunscreen. The Tinkerbats will be generous with hearts and MP refills so use your beach ball to get some extra damage on Risky if you can hit her.

Fortunately, on the lava slide you do not have to worry about the accursed sunscreen but rather just escaping.
