Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

You will need to beat the game in Ninja Mode with Ninja Shantae. Beating Ninja Mode requires precise activation of the teleport feature (which can be frustrating if your controller registers a down press when pressing right). Also, because Ninja Shantae has such a speed advantage, the clear time requirements are much tighter if you’re going for those.

Ninja Shantae moves so fast so in some bosses where you have timed evasion of attacks, such as Wilbur, it's easy to actually run into an attack so keep that in mind. Generally, for all bosses, you can use the teleport to avoid attacks if you find yourself cornered. In the case of Giga Mermaid you can use the teleport to reach her head jewel without climbing.

To beat the game, you must defeat Risky Boots at the end and then escape the final stage via the lava slide, just like in the main game. Risky Boot's attack patterns are identical to the main game. If you can get close to and rapid attack her, you can defeat her not long after the first time she uses her anchor move.
