- Talk to Uncle Mimic in the workshop, who sends you to find Bolo in the item shop.
- Bolo actually is in the bath house. First talk to him, then to the bath house lady.

At the beginning of the game, Uncle Mimic will ask you to find Bolo because he was supposed to pick something up and never returned. To obtain the Magnet:
- Go to the Bath House and speak to Bolo.
- Talk to the woman in the Bath House to receive the Sale Slip.
- Go to the Item Shop and give the man the Sale Slip in exchange for the Magnet.
