Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

You will obtain this trophy by defeating the fifth boss in the game (Ammo Baron), found at the end of Cape Crustacean. At the start of the fight, Ammo Baron will be floating in midair and he will surround himself with smaller minions. You will need to attack the minions in order to reach Ammo Baron. During the fight, Ammo Baron will fly around the screen and the minions will rotate around him, so just keep killing the minions to give yourself room to attack. You will want to do this anyway, as Ammo Baron will occasionally raise his hand and one of the minions on that side of him will fly at you. Any minions you kill will be replaced after a short time.

After taking enough damage, Ammo Baron will double the layer of minions surrounding him, but the strategy remains the same. Keep your distance and work towards creating an opening. When he raises his hand, three minions will fly at you instead of one. He will eventually triple the layer, which gives you very little room to avoid getting hit. When he does this, he will no longer raise his hand to signal an attack, but he can launch many enemies in any direction.

Most of the damage you receive in this battle will likely come from making contact with Ammo Baron or his minions as they move around. He only has two attacks: sending his minions after you (explained above) and calling in an air strike. During the air strike, a target will appear on the screen and minions will begin swooping down from the sky towards the target. The target will appear wherever you are standing and it will change positions in mid-strike, so keep moving to avoid getting hit.

As with most boss battles, the Pike Ball and its upgrades are highly recommended.
