How to unlock the Not selling you snake oil. achievement in Shantae: Half-Genie Hero - Definitive Guide

You can get this in the first run of Mermaid Falls, the third level of the game.

At the end of the second area of the level, just after going over a screen after a long climb through rings and defeating two techno grunts with pots below in small alcoves, you will see a special pot at the end of an indented pocket. Hit this pot to get the snake lady to come out, like a snake charmer.

Buy and/or make any trade with her to unlock this achievement.

It's also worth noting this is where you can get the Gem Jug dance here by buying the Warp Dance and trading it for the Gem Jug dance. You can use the Gem Jug dance back in Scuttle town in the bathhouse for infinite money.

The earliest you'll meet the Snake Charmer is in Mermaid Falls, Stage 2 (the factory). You can always buy something for her like a Magic Potion (25 gems) or invest in something more fitting like the Revive Dance (250 gems) or its upgrade, Super Revive Dance (500 gems). There's the Obliterate Dance (300 gems), the Dryad Dance which bears Oranges in exchange for magic (100 gems), the Warp Dance which whisks you away to the next stage in that map rotation (200 gems), or swap out Obliterate or Warp for the Blobfish Dance or Gem Jug. Just make a purchase to get this trophy.

The sneaky, snakey seller of magical secrets is Tuki, a devious Naga that resides inside a pot. You can find her pot in three locations in the game: Mermaid Falls (at the end of the factory), Tassel Town (third area), and Hypno Baron’s Castle (third screen of the second area). Simply whip the pot to make her appear. Tuki has several unique items for sale or trade, but you only need to make a single transaction to get this trophy.

You just need to buy something from Snake-in-a-Pot. Found at the end of the mermaid factory (after 2 crocodiles in helmets) and in the desert level after the tower.
