How to unlock the Extra ball! achievement in Shark Pinball - Definitive Guide
The required steps for this achievement are the following:
1) Get the ball on the top level
2) Keep hitting the buoy in the top left corner until the red ladder structure has moved twice
3) Hit the ball into the gap on the right beneath the ladder so it runs up it and drops back to the lower level
4) The large shark should now have opened its mouth, “Mission Start” will appear in the upper text box, and 8 barrels will appear (5 on the lower level & 3 on the top level)
5) You now have 60 seconds to hit and destroy all 8 barrels, and doing so will unlock the Extra Ball. If the ball goes out of play, get eaten by the shark, or the time limit reach zero the mission will fail and you will need to try again.
It's a very annoying table because it's so easy to lose the ball to the sides or have the ball eaten by the shark when you finally activate the extra ball mission.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how the table wants me to get to the top level. Seem to get there just randomly hitting near the jellyfish and can't get it consistently. Even then getting the barrels activated and then getting up there again is way too tough. This is a really bad table design, probably worst yet from these developers.

I am finding this table to be the worst I've ever played. Like the above commenter, I can't seem to figure out what exactly needs to be done to push the ball up to the 'surface' level; I'm constantly trying just to hit the ball up in to the 'deep water' part of the board and hoping for the best.
Likewise, I don't actually have ANY idea how to trigger multiball, despite having done so at least six times so far.
Not sure even what the best way to rack up score on this board is, the only thing I seem to find gives any decent score is completing 'BAIT' at the lanes at the bottom, giving 200k points each time but of course also making losing the ball likely down the outlanes.
I've managed to activate the Extra Ball 'mission' at least a dozen times, but have yet to get back up to the top level during one, nor can I see where the 5th barrel on the lower level is, and DAMN is that stupid shark mouth magnetic? Literally the first time I activated the mission, the ball dropped down and IMMEDIATELY went into the shark mouth with no input from me whatsoever. It's responsible for at least a third if not half of my failures on the Extra Ball.
