You've done so many spins on a single rail, it made me sick just watching.

How to unlock the Magnet achievement in Shaun White Snowboarding - Definitive Guide

I got this on (i believe) the japan mountain, eitherway, try one of the rails at the bottom of the mountain that has a sort of children's area. In the middle there is a double rail that is part of a conveyor lift. Just jib on and start turning by pressing the right thumbstick to the left/right, but not to fast otherwise it's hard to keep control.

Good solution. I would just like to add that pretty much any rail that is of a long length should be suitable enough to get the achievement on. I went on the long monorail and the achievement had popped up after just a couple of seconds of being on it.

I found the monorail sucked for this achievement because of the constant bumps on the grind... but that's just personal taste... thanks for confirming the amount of spins needed for the cheevo... probably do not have to turn very fast then, since it's only 4 rounds!

If you're having trouble getting a 1440 spin using the rail in the Kids Park in Japan (as I was)...
Try the monorail in Europe. The monorail is accessed on the far left of the map.
*You will need Force to access the monorail (it is behind a breakable barrier).

After you used Force (press X) (press and hold A) to break the barrier, Jump onto the monorail.
Ride the first section, jump the bump, ride the second section, jump the bump.

DO NOT ATTEMPT the 1440 yet, the first two sections are not long enough.
However, the third section is plenty long to pull a 1440.

Start your spin as you jump over the (second) bump onto the third section, continue the spin using the Right Stick while using the Left Stick to maintain balance.
I pulled a 1760/1780 ? on my third attempt, ding achievement.

-Do a 1440 spin on a rail.
Again I recommend the Kids Park Rail. Go to the top and set a marker, jump on the rail and spin around slowly as possible the faster you go the harder it is to balance– control balance, spins.
