How to unlock the Mecha Shredzilla achievement in Shaun White Snowboarding - Definitive Guide
This achievement requires you to earn 1 million (that's 1,000,000) respect points while in an online room/mountain.
**ATTENTION**
The following describes how to obtain this achievement by using a free fall glitch. The reason most people prefer this method is due to the fact that it is rather hard to boost this achievement.
The game may have been "patched" but the Alaska glitch still works. I have posted a YouTube video, describing how to get in to the glitch and suggestions on where to go and things of the sort. This is NOT my video so please bear with the quality but other than that, shouldn't have a problem understanding the glitch. This is the only glitch that I have found that still works after the patch (not trying to search for more, sorry...)
Steps:
[Watch YouTube Video for Help]
1.) Load Alaska map
2.) Walk to barriers behind helicopter where they meet to make a corner
3.) Wedge yourself in the corner (off to the right just a bit)
4.) Strap the board on and try to take off slightly to the right of the corner
5.) If done correctly, you should be boarding past the barrier
6.) Place marker so you can teleport back easily
7.) Find a spot off to the left to place marker so you're in front of "jump"
8.) Once you have the desired respect, teleport to highest helicopter drop-off
9.) Process can be done multiple times, so you don't have to get all-in-1
Tips:
*Go into a backflip/spin combo from the jump to keep the points increasing more quickly
*Get the multiplier up to 3x to obtain faster point increase
*Doesn't matter if you are booted from server/game during the process as long as you are in the free fall, just host another server/game, then teleport to top of mountain
The best thing about this one is that once you "fall off" or "fall thru" the map, you continue to fall FOR-EV-ER. So in all fairness, you can get that rubber band out and let the controller sit for a few minutes. As long as you are not booted from the game/server in the process (which it can/will happen), you should be good. I was in the middle of a free fall, hosted a Xbox Live match, and it still worked so I'm guessing as long as you are in a match (host would be best), once you teleport to the top-most helicopter drop-off, the points should count.
Tried to post as much as I found out about it but if you have any questions, shoot me a PM and I will try to help.

Nice post, but you need to describe what exactly you are shooting for here...you mention the glitch, and that will get a lot of points...but how many are we shooting for here?

You need to gain a total of 1 million respect points while in an online room. This does not need to be done in one sitting or in one room or even on one mountain. It adds up your all your points you get while playing online and once you get 1 million this trophy is yours. You'll get this on your way to getting Mardi Gras, Octoberfest, Tanaba and Ice Worm.
-Get 1,000,000 whilst being online.
IF you have only ever played online you definitely have this but if not just keep riding whilst being online and you’ll get this one.
