How to unlock the Chopping Master achievement in Shenmue III - Definitive Guide

There are several spots in the games two locations where you can chop wood to earn money. You will notice large tree stumps on the ground, often with an NPC standing close by. The minigame is very simple, just hit the button at the correct time to chop the wood until the timer runs out.

You should get roughly 50-100 logs each time. It really doesn't take long to reach 1,000 in total.

This trophy will require some grinding, but not too much. Visit the Tao-Get store in Bailu Village and ask for a job. He will ask you to chop some wood. Your total is shown at the end of each session. If you're good then you can easily get over 100 each time. Repeat as many times as you need until you get the trophy. There are a few other locations to chop wood in the game. Sunset Hill in Bailu Village. To the side of your Hotel in Niaowu. Another location is in Niaowu on Blossom Road behind the Blossom Direct store.

In the village of Bailu you can earn extra money by chopping wood. This is done in the Tao-Get Store. At one time I got about 80-100 logs. Repeat 10-15 times.
