This is missable.
There are six capsule toy machines located throughout the game; two in Sakuragaoka (outside Abe Store), two in Dobuita (outside You Arcade), and two at the Harbour (inside the Harbour Lounge).
Capsule toys cost ¥100 each, so be mindful as Ryo begins the game with just ¥10,300 and receives ¥500 allowance per day until he begins working at the Harbour later in the game, where money is earned according to how well the player performs.

Going into Sakuragoa and turning right, you'll see a convenience store.
To the right of the door, there are two toy vending machines.
Interact with one of the machines and pay 100 yen to buy a toy.
After unwrapping, press X to confirm and exit toy view and you'll get this trophy!

MISSABLE
There is a store in Sakuragaoka called Abe Store. Out front are two capsule toy machines. Interact with either of them, and spend 100 yen to buy a capsule toy. Doing so will earn you this trophy. There are 2 more capsule toy machines outside the You Arcade in Dobuita, and 3 more in another location that is Inaccessible at this point in the game. You only need to buy 1 toy from any of them in order to get this trophy.
